Budget and 300zx dont belong in the same sentence. Unless you want to get stuck with a broke Z borrowing a car from your mom keep your cash, enjoy the 300+ HP a stock TT has to offer and be prepared for VERY expensive repairs. I was you like 6 years ago when I bought my Z. I paid 9k and I loved it. About 3 years later an injector went out, took it to a bad mechanic and he thrashed the compression on the engine trying to get it running. After a YEAR sitting in the driveway sharing a car I finally had enough cash after the $2500 I lost to that mechanic to get the engine looked at. Long story short, it costed me an entire rebuild and now close to $30,000 invested. Here is what to do if you want more power.... Wait for something to break, and THEN make it better. Stuff will break, there is no doubt of that and it will be expensive.
